How to clear cache and bounce in R12

I know in R12 clear cache ( it's via front end ) and bounce apache process is different.
Do we have any standard document for that as well ?

Hi,

1. To clear HTML cache

The _pages directory under $COMMON_TOP should not be cleared for E-Biz Release 12, which was the process used in earlier releases (11i).
