Announcement: Oracle Database 19c Now Certified with EBS 12.1 for Linux on IBM Z

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 is now certified with Oracle Database 19c on Linux on IBM Z as a database tier only platform.

Database 19c certified operating systems for Linux on IBM Z are as follows:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 7
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) version 12

Note:  Linux on IBM Z was previously known as IBM: Linux on System z.

What is a Database Tier Only Platform Certification?

E-Business Suite certified platforms are platforms for which both the application and database tiers of E-Business Suite are supported and for which EBS provides a release package (i.e., Rapid Install). The term
