Purpose

The AutoUpdate concurrent program allows E-Business Suite DBAs install all Analyzers via a concurrent program. Analyzer updates are then done automatically, each month, without DBA intervention.

Audience

  • DBAs and System Administrators - Install & schedule the AutoUpdate Concurrent Programs

Benefits

  • Schedule and Automate Analyzer Updates
  • New Analyzer versions are automatically deployed to users
  • Lessens maintenance for DBAs

Requirements

  • E-Business Suite 12.0, 12.1, 12.2
  • UNIX or LINUX (Does not run on Windows environments)
  • JDK 7 or higher on the Concurrent Processing Server (check via "$AF_JRE_TOP/bin/java -version")
