CIP Asset Addition

Can Any body please provide the process CIP Asset addition and transfer of cost to CIP Asset with an example

User guide has details about how to create a CIP assets. The only setup that is required for CIP asset is

- At category level the CIP cost and cip clearing account needs to be defined

- When you create an invoice with these CIP clearing account in AP and transfer the same to prepare mass addition form, they get transferred with asset type as 'CIP' and when you post them, system will create CIP assets.

With regards to your second question, you can transfer CIP asset cost from one asset to another via source line transfer.
