Requirement

You may have  requirement to create configured  item (along with associated BOM and Routing) through program to include certain custom validations in the creation. In other words there are a few validations which are beyond the Out of box functionality of standard Application and you want to do these validations and than import the configured items as the outcome in to the standard application.

The need is to check what all options like API or equivalent are available to tailor for the requirements
