Interface Trip Stop – Key aspects

Interface Trip Stop program is one important program to enable post ship confirm updates for the sales order line shipments. For many of us, this is one grey area that needed some basic understanding.

This program can be run manually by going to shipping à interfaces à Run and than pick the request “Interface trip Stop – SRS” to run.

It can also be run automatically if you set “Defer Interface” checkbox is unchecked at the time of ship confirm.

Interface Trip Stop program performs the updates through two interfaces in steps:

          1. Order Management Interface

Through this interface update the order management tables like OE_ORDER_LINES_All (Update Shipped_Quantity, Shipping_Quantity, Actual_Shipment_Date) and also WSH_DELIVERY_DETAILS (make Released_status, OE_INTERFACED_FLAG = ‘Y’) table.
