Shipping Exceptions

There will be some violations against the shipment requirements which you may want to define and control at the time of shipping and transportation. These exceptions when defined in Oracle apps, can govern the non-conforming operations which may violate your requirements for shipment and transportation carriers.

The exceptions can be from delivery, delivery lines, container, trips and stops etc. the exceptions logged against each of these entities will reflect in the shipping transactions and quick ship window and the exception checkbox will be enabled for the corresponding entity against which exception is logged. The level of exception is implied by the Color of the checkbox. Red is the most severe while Yellow is less severe. No color indicates there is exception but no color is tagged with exception that is more like an information.
