Trouble Shooters: Export option disabled

Situation

In Menu applet the File --> Export option is not functioning or disabled.

Mistake proofs

  • Make sure the browser allows ActiveX controls and downloads to be enabled. the setup varies from browser to browser but it is quite intuitive.
  • Set your Proxy server setting of bypass Proxy server for local address
  • Delete your browser cache and set to delete the cache when you exit the browser
  • Disable Popup blocker

In Oracle EBS, Set your system Profile Export: Mime type as text/tab-separated-values’ or or ‘application/vnd.ms-excel’

Analysis

Tools --> Diagnostics --> Examine

Set Block = environment

Set Field = FND_EXPORT_BUG
