Control Accounts in Project Costing and Billing ?

Hi gurus,

As we have control accounts in other module like AP - AP Liability Account and AR - Receivable Account, what would be the control account in PJC and PJB ? and how it will be knocked off in further process.

Project costing and Billing will be mainly used to track and identify  the net profit or loss by project or program

so there is no control account concept in projects.

AP and AR will be used to maintain  Expenses and Revenue so you need to have control accounts for these two subledger modules.

Note:- Project costing and billing level accounting is just for tracking purpose,  no additional or control accounts required here.
