Tips and Techniques: Default Sales Person According to User on tab

Problem Statement

When a  User is imported as salesperson it is required for her to default salesperson tab in Order Header according to user signed in.

Solution

  1. There is a Profile option called OM: Default Salesrep which you can set to the user of interest
  2. Then in Defaulting Rule make rule to take value first from Profile option

Above is picked from one of the discussions to document as a good reference to trouble shooters in Sales. This document will be updated with such trouble shooters.
