A field engineer is the one who moves from place to place and attends the after sales service requirements.

We have the Applications which support the Field Services.

This document is however about how we in supporting the modules can tune to the dynamics of the Field engineer in his day to day routines and the challenges faced.

Ease of Assignment.

When there is a service request for visit, the system needs to look at 3 important aspects. The Skills needed, the closest location where the engineer is located to make the quickest visit and the available hours of those engineers.
