ACARS integration with Oracle cMRO

Flight Ops. integration is often considered the most critical development undertaken as part of a cMRO implementation.

This involves mainly the following data:

  • Actual Flight timing.
  • Discrepancies reported
  • Other information

The below diagram explains the integration

The following main events/information form the key integration objects.

  1. OOOI (OUT-OFF-ON-IN): These are messages automatically triggered by sensors in the Aircraft to track movement, flight progress and delays.
    • OUT: An 'OUT' is sent when the Aircraft leaves its parking position. Usually triggered by Parking brake release and/or all door closed.
    • OFF: An OFF is sent when the take-off is detected. Triggered by the Air/Ground sensor.

Howdy, Stranger!
