OSM 7.3.x - Order Processing - Cancel A Completed Order

Scenario

  • In a BSS/OSS environment, a COM order can take much longer to fulfill then a SOM order
    • COM order spans across multiple order components, of which provisioning is just a subset
  • After the provisioning component/SOM order completes, a revision is received for the COM order, which has not yet completed
  • When OSM is fulfilling the SOM role, COM can send a cancellation request against the completed SOM order
    • After cancelling the SOM order, a new SOM order can be submitted to fulfill the revision
