How to analyze horizontal plan!

How to analyze/read horizontal plan? While going through horizontal plan, I was expecting projected available balance to be equal to (Expected receipt/for that matter any supply + beginning onhand - demand). But I could not find any logical consistency. May be I am new and so am missing something. Can anyone explain highlevel approach while reading a horizontal plan. Any document recommendation would be really helpful.

Hi,

Horizontal plan is a summary view of all supplies and demands displayed as \'[opkpkm, per the plan buckets.

The rows the horizontal plan are pretty much self explanatory and are in accordance with supply chain concepts (irrespective of any ERP product).
