PROACTIVE HOWTO How to solve relinking errors during patching

Created this post to help customer troubleshoot relink issues during patching.
Everybody is welcome to add other hints.

In your patch log you will see:

STRT_TASK: [Relink executables] []

Relinking executables...


An error occurred while relinking application programs.
Continue as if it were successful [No] :

The real error can be found in:
$APPL_TOP/admin/<db_name>/log/adrelink.log

This is the file you need to check and search for the failed job.
