    In addition, the following commands can be used.  Sometimes we (in support) need both the rack and system serial number to help identify the proper Exadata hardware CSI.  It is useful to have both serial numbers.  Currently, running the sundiag.sh script will pull the system serial number, but not the rack serial number.  We are looking at updating that in a future release of sundiag.

    RACK serial number:
    [root@dm02cel05 ~]# ipmitool sunoem cli "show /SP system_identifier"

    SYSTEM serial number:
    [root@dm02cel05 ~]# ipmitool sunoem cli "show /SYS product_serial_number"
