    Please create a thread posting in the appropriate group.  A document is not the correct way to obtain assistance.Just for clarity that vxdisk list output show no problems.  The "invalid" flag simply means there is no private region on that disk.  The disks could be used by something other than VxVM.

    Gabriel hi,
    SS is right - you should always use "Ask a Question" instead of "Post a Document" with questions like this.

    And what he menas by his technical response is that what you are seeing does not really indicate a "problem".  It's telling you:

    online = Volume Manager can see the disk
    invalid = Volume Manager does not control the disk (usually because you have not yet properly asked it to :)

    Solutions:
    vxdiskadm --> option 1

    or

    vxdisksetup

    Researching one of those two solution methods and you'll likely see online invalid go away.
