Union due changes for United Steel Workers

Hello,
We got the same response from Oracle support for the monthly calculation because they could not calculate monthly gross earnings. So when I asked if they could perform the calc using current pay period gross earnings...they have paused to review and tell me if JDE could be setup for the calculations. I am not hoping for a good answer so in the meantime we are building a showcase report to pull the data, do the calc and provide excel worksheet to upload monthly. I will post a comment if I get suprised and they can setup the PDBA for the 1.45% of gross (not disposable) with a minimum of $5 and maximum (the kicker) gross/hours= avg rate x 2.5. We would have to have a report to send with the deductions anyway...so showcase report seemed to have the least impact.
Good luck!

Thank you for your participation in the JDE E1 Payroll Community. The United Steel Workers have changed how union dues are collected. Instead of a flat monthly union due amount, it is now based on percentages of pay with many exceptions listed. I've opened a case with Oracle and was instructed that it needs a custom table method and to work our developer or a field consultant. Just wondering if anybody else will have to change to the new USW method to collect union dues or if anybody already has it set up and could give us some help.
