Anyone please explain the process of P31116 - Component Scrap ?

Hi,

Anyone please explain the process flow of Component Scrap Application - P31116 in full with detailed examples ?

I have changed the default document type form "IO" to "IS".

And want that component scrapped value needs to be displayed in TB under object account 6170.

Please treat this as most urgent and do the needful immediately.

Hi,

Component Scrap does not generate Journal Entries as this is informational and the $ value will be included in the original IM Material Issue.

Here is some reference information and I have included some very useful documents:

Component Scrap

The standard JD Edwards document type for component or material scrap from a shop floor work order is IO.  The material must be issued to the work order prior to reporting component scrap.  The material Issues program is P31113.
