Resetting a meter reading after replacing one rebuildable by another

I need help
we want to use PM scheduling based on meter reading in EAM

We are receiving a data from an external database once a day

If I define a meter associated  to  rebuildable  asset (serial)

During one-step material issue  one  rebuildable  asset (serial) replaced by Another

Is there a way to automate the process that a meter for new rebuildable  asset will reset  automatically  also the meter will be associated to a new asset ?

This is not a standard feature. You need to use a custom procedure that can be called and meter associated.
