Advance preference in JDE

I am in the process of setting up the Sales Price Based on Date Advanced Preference and am wondering if anyone has had positive results overriding a price based on order date (system constant) with a price based on request date (advanced preference).  Our base prices are based on order date while trade promotion preferences are to be based on request date.

Hi Scott,
Have you review Note 625695.1 E1: 42: Sale Price Based on Date Advanced Preference (P4106/P4070/P4071/P4072/P4210/P42101)?

Can you check goto P4072, row exit to Pref Detail.  At the W4072D Preference Values Revision, the PD column should be 1 for requested date and the Price Effective Date must be blank.
