You can utilize the Global Category Code Update UBE (R01490) to do a mass update of category codes in the Address Book.

Hi,

Do you need to update all category codes to the same value? (for example: all category code 01 from value 005 to 006, category code 02 from blank to 007, etc). If so, R01490 should work. Make sure that you run it in proof mode before running it in final mode.
