Dear 993406,
so - we know that the Essbase Service failed to start from this, but not WHY.
It may have been caused by your last actions (calculation, patching, use etc) and that again could give you an idea why this fails.
Currently this could be anything from bad patching via broken Security to full disc that is causing the issue. So you need more information.
You need to look at the Essbase Logfiles to get more information on what went wrong.
On your system that should be under:
/local/apps/oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/essbase/essbase/essbase
In here you find an
Essbase.log
Essbase_ODL.log and
SharedServices_Security_Client.log
all three combined may give you a more detailed pointer as to WHAT exactly failed.
I would also recommend to open a new thread as a QUESTION and refer back to this document, as discussions are better handled in a Question thread, rather than Document Comments.
best regards
.Torben
