Try adding the path to your .jar file into the windows registry for Web Analysis (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hyperion Solutions\WebAnalysis\HyS9WebAnalysis), e.g.: ;d:\JDBC\sqljdbc.jar

Try to add the odbc.ini file entries and you should be able to connect to the SQL server for WA.
