Paperless fabrication factories

In our current fabrication shop we process approximately 3,000 custom wip job order packets a week. They basically include a traveller, a routing (work instructions) and a blue print. As you can imagine there is a great deal of manual intervention to collade, place into plastic holders etc. With new leadership in place they are looking for ways to eliminate all this paper along with many manual processes.

Has anyone else ever faced such challenges and what did you come up with?
