1. Reservations against standard and non standard WIP jobs

Scenario:

Using  non-standard WIP job for processing repairs. Want  to put reservation on items and quantities when user make material  requirement(demand) for WIP job, so that the item and quantities are not consumed/reserved by  other transaction like Sales Order, subinventory transfer etc.

Solution:

Reservations against non-standard WIP jobs is not possible.

There is however a Workaround.

1. Run discrete job component pick release (which will create move orders)
2. Run Move order pick slip for warehouse type with Auto Allocate as YES (this will reserve the onhand for the job )
