Answer options updated due to CRMOD sync

An ODM field has separate set of answer codes and answer options. However after the CRMOD_ATTRIBUTE_METADATA_SYNC the ODM answer codes and the answers options suddenly became identical. For Eg:

Before Sync:

Answer Code: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Answer: Mechanical/Industrial Engg.

After CRMOD_ATTRIBUTE_METADATA_SYNC:

Answer Code: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Answer: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering How do you maintain different sets of answer codes and answer options for an ODM field?

Attributes can have a separate list of answers and answer codes. The answer codes are stored in the database and are language-independent. This happens when the "disable option" in CRM picklist values overwrites the answer options when the field is modified in CRMOD. There are 2 options available for configuring attributes under Admin:
