How do I ensure optimal sync with CRMOD in ODM?

QUESTION

I am getting differences in the information I have in ODM to that of CRM On Demand. What must I do to ensure maximum data integrity at sync time?

ANSWER

Data transfer from CRM On Demand (CRMOD) to ODM is called sync and most of the data gets synched everyday based on the last modified of the lead or contact. Data transfer between ODM to CRMOD is called publish and only gets triggered when the leads/contacts go through the funnel. And the funnel is triggered only when there is "registration” (online via a form or offline via an import). You also have to set the funnel rules which set queue assignment rules (CRMOD publish is also a queue where the data is sent).
