What is drop count and how it is calculated?

ANSWER

The drop count refers to the number of contacts targeted for that program.

Please note that the drop count is different from the final drop count which represents the number of contacts sent to email vendor. Email vendor will filter contacts again and send the emails.

In order to verify this statistic the customer should go to the program and click on the "In Progress” status next to the email.

Email Pre-Launch Statistics – Count after ODM processing

Total drop count – Number of contacts targeted

Marketing Suppression Count – Total of contacts suppressed by ODM
