Will Windows Monthly Rollups Work with EBS?

Microsoft announced that they will release security and reliability patches in a single Monthly Rollup update instead of as individual patches.  They also announced the availability of a single Security-only rollup. 

This change was effective from October 2016 onwards and applies to:

  • Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • windows Server 2012
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
