How Long Can I Get Support for a Specific Java Update?

Support timelines for Oracle products can be tricky to understand. The time that an overall product release gets updates is governed by the dates in the Oracle Lifetime Support Policies. EBS users have 12 months to upgrade to the latest Fusion Middleware component patchsets, and 24 months to upgrade to the latest database components. These are called grace periods.
