ANNOUNCEMENT 1: JRE 1.8.0_191/192 Certified for Oracle E-Business Suite

Oracle E-Business Suite 12

CPU release JRE 1.8.0_191 build 12 (8u191-b12) and later updates are certified as desktop client JRE releases for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
PSU release JRE 1.8.0_192 build 12 (8u172-b12) and later updates are certified as desktop client JRE releases for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

JRE 1.8.0_191 (32-bit) & JRE 1.8.0_192 (32-bit) is certified as a desktop client JRE release with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and 12.1 for:

  • Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
  • Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit)

JRE Upgrade Interoperability Patch

  • Upgrading to Java 3-digit point releases requires the latest JRE upgrade scripts (txkSetPlugin.*). If not applied previously, apply the following patch to allow update of all JRE versions up to 3 digits:
