ANNOUNCEMENT: E-Business Suite R12 Cross Platform Migration to Oracle Cloud is now certified

What are we announcing?

Cross platform migration to Oracle Cloud is now certified for Oracle E-Business Suite Releases 12.1 (12.1.3) and 12.2 (12.2.3 or higher) with Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0). The documented process combines both an application tier platform migration from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Compute VM and database tier migration to OCI running a multi-tenant database. The database migration process uses Transportable Tablespaces (TTS) with the 'full transportable export/import' option in 12cR1 to speed up the migration.

This process will be needed for migrating E-Business Suite environments across platforms, i.e. migrating to Oracle Cloud running Linux x86-64 from an on-premises platform of a different "endian" format
