ODA deployment and patching

Hi,

ODA kit version is 2.9.0.0

i am trying to upgrade it to 2.10.0.0

but whenever i do the command /opt/oracle/oak/bin/oakcli update --patch  2.10.0.0.0 --infra

i got the below error:

ERROR: Host 192.168.16.24 listed in file /opt/oracle/oak/temp_privips.txt is not pingable at /opt/oracle/oak/pkgrepos/System/2.10.0.0.0/bin/pkg_install.pl line 242

ERROR: Failed to apply the patch

i didnt run the configuration manager yet. what i am thinking is maybe this ODA has been used before. should i reimage BM on both nodes or there is any workaround

Hi,

The most common source for your error has to do with the binaries not being 'found' as expected during patching
