kvmbr - Tool to Backup/Restore KVM domains

KVMBR is a tool to backup/restore KVM domains running from ACFS/LVM or generic folder repository. The backup can be executed without downtime "live backup" and with limited CPU/IO impact as the file operations are executed under nice/ionice. KVMBR supports Oracle Automatic Storage Management Cluster File System (Oracle ACFS), Logical Volume (LVM) or normal folders as guest VM repository.

kvmbr Verbs

With kvmbr following operation are possible:

- listvm   - to list the guest VM

- listrepo - to list the guest VM repository
- backup - to backup guest VMs
- restore - to restore guest VMs
- rmvm   - to drop a vm
