Introduction to HMR

If you are working with different SIP communications networks, you have probably encountered variances such as disparate SIP services or incompatibilities among vendor deployments. These variances can result in interruptions that degrade SIP services and disrupt continuity in SIP operations. You need a tool that can help you resolve those variances; you need customized SIP adaptations.

Acme Packet deploys a powerful SIP manipulation language called Header Manipulation Rules (HMR) that lets you resolve issues in SIP communications networks. The ability to manipulate the information in the SIP messages provides you with the flexibility needed to control your SIP traffic. You can use HMR to categorize and specify processing of SIP message flows and re-using SIP message information.

Howdy, Stranger!
