Possibility to add external attachments to a BI Publisher Output from JDE

Hello,

We have a requirement where-in we need to attach some external documents (Word , PDF , Excel) to a BI Publisher Output generated via a JD Edwards Batch Application.

As far as I understand the earlier releases had this as a limitation.

Could you please let me know if there is any workaround available in the latest releases for BI Publisher which would allow me to add some external documents to the PDF (~embed them) or anything ?
