R12.1.3 11.2.0.4 db Java 6.0 64bit SLES 11 - Upgrade to Java 7.0 64bit SLES 12

We are running R12.1.3 11.2.0.4 db Java 6.0 on 64but SLES 11. The ideal goal for upgrade would be to get to R12.2.10 19c db Java7.0 on 64bit SLES 12.

Due to the urgency to get to SLES 12 as it supports TLS1.2 , we would like to first upgrade to Java 7.0 and SLES 12 - which is certified per the Certification list.

At this point, we need to upgrade from R12.1.3 11.2.0.4db Java 6.0 on 64bit SLES 11 to R12.1.3 11.2.0.4db Java 7.0 on 64bit SLES 12.

Would it make sense to do the java and SLES upgrade together ? ......

I need to plan the steps for this and would really appreciate a high level approach on how to accomplish this ?
