Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Creating Listener for CDB and PDB

Hi,

Database Version: 19c

Platform: Windows 2016

HA: Oracle running on Windows Failover Cluster (DB VIP)

Does anyone know what is the best practice to create listener for the CDB and PDB?

Can we create only one listener for the CBD and PDB?

The PDB's SID_NAME is the same as the CDB SID_NAME?
