Dear All,


We have oracle DB 11.1.0.7 on oracle Linux x86_64.

opatch apply for patch 8940108 returned errors:

/bin/ld: i386:x86-64 architecture of input file `/home/oracle/d01/oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/lib32/libxml11.a(ltxvm.o)' is incompatible with i386 output

/bin/ld: i386:x86-64 architecture of input file `/home/oracle/d01/oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/lib32/libxml11.a(ltxvm1.o)' is incompatible with i386 output

/bin/ld: i386:x86-64 architecture of input file `/home/oracle/d01/oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/lib32/libxml11.a(ltxvm2.o)' is incompatible with i386 output
