Planning menu doesn't disappear if you click elsewhere in Workspace after pulling up menu

We noticed the below behavior in planning application in Chrome and Edge browser after apply the patches for Chrome/Edge support per the article 2675883.1.

Once opened the planning application in Chrome or Edge, if you click on any menu items, then click elsewhere in the workspace, the menu stays there and doesn't disappear. Only clicking back to the same menu it goes off.

Please let me know if anyone else faced the same behavior and any fix available.
