JET Chart Relabel X Axis

in Oracle Application Express (MOSC)

I'm developing a JET chart in Apex20 with multiple series that I need to control the sort of the x-axis. I found this article:

And the solution does impact the group labels, as I can tell from inspecting the element but it doesn't impact what is shown on the screen. Any suggestions?
