Is it a must to perform Check Price after price override and then decide to revert to original ?

My JDE version is 9.2. Steps to create this issue :

1. Create a Sales order with advanced price setup. Noted the unit price is correct as per advance price setup. Price History listed with correct records - 'Base price' line and Advance pricing lines. PROV = 0, SO unit price is correct.
2. Decide to override the unit price. Noted the unit price is changed, Price history is blank, records in F4074 are deleted, PROV = 1.
3. Decide to use back the original advance price. I blank off the unit price in the SO detail to let the system to repopulate the unit price and save. Check the price history, it has 'No Base Price' line with zero unit price. Unit price = correct advance price. PROV = 0.
