Manual cost update and its consequences

Hi team ,

In our Manufacturing organization , we have average costing set up. So after changing an FG BOM, when we create a job, the item cost doesn't come up as per the changed BOM. Because of Average costing, the new cost (Cost Derived as per new BOM), gets adjusted with the existing on-hand cost. In order to resolve this issue , can we do manual cost update in this kind scenarios. if yes , then how can we adjust the existing inventory cost of that FG ITEM?
