Migrating 19c Database from RHEL7 to RHEL8

When migrating from RHEL6 to RHEL7, we could just move the storage to the new VM running RHEL7 with all the proper patch bundles and start up the database. No issues.

Does anyone know if the process is similar for a move to RHEL8? Assuming I build a new RHEL8 Server, patched accordingly, can I just backup and restore/reallocate the storage to the new RHEL8 VM, similar to the move to RHEL7?

Or would we be best suited to export/import our database into RHEL8?
