Intercompany direct ship line type W

We are using intercompany direct ship SI - SO/OK using the regular process.

But when creating a sales order with W line type, work order is not created.

Several tests shown that as soon as the interbranch tab of processing option is filled in, work order is not created anymore.

We tried to enter a SI sales order with a version with Interbranch tab processing options populated and work order is not generated.

We tried to enter a SI sales order with another version with Interbranch tab processing options blank and work order is correctly generated.

Why is that ?
