How to Migrate OMS and Repo DB to new target host but keep OMS and Repo DB on source host available

We would like to: Migrate OMS and Repo DB to new target host but keep OMS and Repo DB on source host available for a period of time while some testing and upgrade can occur on new target (about 2 weeks) then bring source OMS and Repo DB down.


I followed the documented migration steps EM 13c: How to Migrate OMS From One Host to Another Host With Different Host Name ( Doc ID 2693097.1 ) and other sources. However, I migrated the Repo DB to the new target host by using RMAN duplicate database.


We ran into an issue this week while attempting to perform omsca recovery on a new target host that we were not expecting. Please see
