Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Latest Oracle Patch for JDK7 update with R12.1.3 64bit SLES11 for Apps Tier and Database Tier

Running R12.1.3 11.2.0.4db Java 6 on 64bit SLES11. Looking to upgrade from java 6 to Java 7 on the server.

Per MOS Certifications, Oracle JDK 1.7.0_99 is the latest that is certified.

Per "Note 1439822.1 - All Java SE Downloads on MOS", latest for JDK7 is :

For Apps Tier Patch 31926740 Oracle JDK 7 Update 271 b31
For Database Tier Patch 31926781 Oracle SERVER JRE 7 Update 271 b31

Could you please confirm that :

Even though JDK 1.7.0_99 is listed as the latest certified, the latest available update is Oracle JDK 7 Update 271 b31 :

For Apps Tier Patch 31926740 Oracle JDK 7 Update 271 b31, and For Database Tier Patch 31926781 Oracle SERVER JRE 7 Update 271 b31
