Change network config of ILOM

in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered ✓

Hi.

I need to know if it is safe to change network config of ILOM on an ODA X6S as I know that changing network configuration on the ODA itself isn't an easy task.

The problem is that the gateway is wrong and make it impossible to reach the ILOM from outside the ODA server.

Can I run the following commands without interferering the ODA server and it's config:

# ipmitool sunoem setval /X/network/pendingipgateway 192.xxx.xxx.1

# ipmitool sunoem setval /X/network/commitpending true
