Missing data in oracle database when

They have an IMMSGLOG configured for 12 million events. The period of their IMMSGLOG is 12 days. In other words, they are averaging approximately 1 million events per day being stored to the IMMSGLOG.

In their reports which are retrieving events from the IM, they notice that there are ‘gaps’ in the IDX. And in fact, if they attempt to query for those IDX values, the IMMSGLOG says that they have no data.
